Kevin Porter checked in this week with a wise piece of advice…don’t go to jail!

Blake Harvey, busted in process of bringing us some quality blogs.

I’ve been watching the John Cardiel documentary on vbs.tv and it’s the single best thing I’ve ever seen on the internet. The whole series is awesome, but the last 3 segments (14, 15, and 16) where he talks about getting hit by a car and being paralyzed is really powerful. He explains how he turned to bike riding to get his thrills, and finally skates again at the end. Such an great story. Watch it.
A little late by internet standards, but I need to keep at least one Daddy-Vision in the top 10. This one is called “No weights in the weight room”.

Congrats to Randy Brown on being the newest rider to be picked up for the S&M Bikes pro team. Read about it here. In related news, Randy will also be wearing Matt Beringer’s S&M+Orchid cobrand shoe since he’s been bumped to the Orchid Footwear pro team as well. We were going to make an official announcement, but this seems like the perfect time to mention it. Go Randy.

I was scrolling through Bmx News today and came across an Orchid Majestic review from the UK’s Style 43. Pretty cool, and I hope “spanking” means good. Only incorrect fact: these are actually suede. Sorry veggie lovers, the Porter shoe is all for you.
Speaking of the Corey Martinez shoe and the UK, Corey himself is now in the UK on the United In-n-Out tour. That country boy sure gets around.

The new issue of Dig showed up this week. It’s a good issue, but for me the 10 page Corey Martinez interview really stands out. He can do anything he wants on a bike. Get it and see for yourself.
Also in this issue, Kevin Porter has some photos in the Fly bikes Italy tour, UK Orchid rider Matt Roe has an interview, and I (Derek Adams) took part in an interview about the 10th anniversary of Road Fools 1. 1998…oh yeah!!!
Ditch tubing…??? What else can I say, the dude knows how to live. Brian Hunt sent over a few pics from his recent California trip.
