Our web guru Justin Wagner has a website for his design company Lifefroots. It was featured in today’s Daily Slurp, a list of beautiful sites on the internet. Jut’s a good dude, great digger, and an even better web designer. He knows his shiz. If you need any website work done hit him up.
Some scraps from the current United road trip featuring Corey Martinez and Nathan Williams. Yep scraps.

It’s been kinda boring around here this week so Matt Lippott and I decided to entertain ourselves by sending in some questions to Dear Deuce. You may know Deuce best from the now defunct Bad As Hell clothing. He’s a funny dude. Feel free to ask him any question at all. He will tell it to you straight. He’s like the Dr. Drew of BMX.

I saw this on Odyssey and had to share. Matt Beringer, extreme ass slider. Gnar brah!
Our homeboy Larry Rhodes made this video for Vital featuring mostly northeast locals. There’s even a few clip from our old bowl including one from Karl Poynter’s visit. Speaking of the bowl, I went to Allentown to visit it’s new home at Penn Skate. It’s back in one piece and it should be back in action soon. They just need to fix the decks and flatbottom. Hopefully that happens soon because I’m starting to get cabin fever.

You can get a sweet Corey Martinez desktop background on Ride. Corey’s currently on the road for 3 weeks filming for the United video. There’s some daily updates from the trip on Coxie’s blog.

Karl Poynter’s chariot.
For Orchid’s 5-year anniversary we decided to reissue our first shoe ever, Van Homan’s original Vandever 1. This colorway is a lot like the 500 pairs of limited edition “platinum” Vandevers we produced in 2003 for our dealers and distributors. Those we’re never offered for sale to the public, so we thought it would be cool to make some that were reminiscent of the originals. They’ll be available next month through one of our dealers.
I’d also like to take this chance to thank everyone who’s supported our little shoe company over the past 5 years. When we first started the idea of a bmx specific shoe company seemed kind of crazy, but 5 years and nearly 100 shoe-styles later it’s starting to seem almost commonplace. We’re ready to go for another 5, and we’re excited to see what the bmx community will be up to by then…
