To further everyones thinking that we never actually do any work over here, and just end up goofing off all day, I give you the “1st Annual Trans Am Backwards BMX-athon”. Since it was the events 1st year the field of contestants was small but the competition was fierce. First up we had International Sales Manager Matt Lippott going head to head with the Big Bossman himself, Mike Clarke.
They started off dead even but through the first turn Matt put the hammer down and took the lead.
As they came through the last turn and headed towards the finish line Matt had extended his lead and coasted across for an easy win.
Not one to be happy taking last place Mike issued the challenge to Assistant Shipping Manager “Mandrew” Walker.
As the two left the starting line it was obvious that Mandrew’s backwards bike riding skills needed a little polishing.
So when Mike rounded the last turn and headed to the finish line it was no suprise that Mandrew was no where in sight.
At the end of the day the results look like this:
1st place - Matt Lippott
2nd place - Mike Clarke
3rd place - Andrew Walker
When it was all said and done Mike had this to say about the days competition, “When you look this stupid, are there any real winners?”
