This year Iggy Pop and the Stooges reunited for a new album and tour. If you’re not familiar with the Stooges, we used their song 1969 for the intro to the Orchid video (Step On It). When they came to Philly on April 11th, Wiz and I made sure not to miss the show. The show was crazy. Iggy Pop has one of the best stage presence I’ve ever seen. 100 percent rock star. He danced like a wild monkey and wasn’t afraid to jump off stage and hang with the crowd. Not bad for a dude in his fifty’s. By his energy level you wouldn’t think he was a day over 3o. He was even in the pit singing for a while then invited the audience onstage to get loose. I wanted to jump up there but I decided to let the shutter fly instead. Here’s what I got. Don’t miss the Stooges if they are playing near you. You won’t regret it.
