Sneak Peek: Origin shoe

This is The Origin, our new model with a classic look and feel. Our original gum sole with a a black suede upper, you can’t go wrong here. These shoes are comfortable and they’ll take a beating. Plus sales from this shoe are going toward another Footwork style video that we’ll be releasing online. Coming summer 2012.

Catty Shoe and Video

Here’s a sneak peek of our new shoe model, The Shovel, in Catty Brown. The color is named after the infamous Catty Trails where we are donating a percentage of the profits. This shoe is a lowtop featuring a brown suede upper and a natural gum sole. They’re the perfect shoes for trail season and summer riding in general.

If you haven’t seen this video made at Catty last summer check it out now. It really captures the essence of trail life + they get money for each view which helps pay their insurance. Good stuff!

Cobra II Sneak Peek

2012 samples are here. Shoe photos are happening now, here’s the first off the line. This is Matt Beringer’s new shoe, The Cobra 2. The color is called “blue groove” which is also the name for the hard packed line that forms in a dirt jump after it’s been ridden a lot. Beringer knows a little something about that since his backyard is a giant dirt playground. I got a chance to watch Killjoy recently and it’s apparent that Matt’s creative style of riding has rubbed off on the entire Utah scene. Every one of those dudes does kooky stuff, which is entirely entertaining and inspiring at the same time. Keep bmx weird!

Random Hunt

Another random B-Hunt shot from the archives. Keith Terra pic. We’ll have some new shoe sample photos up soon, including Brian’s signature shoe The Anchor.

Leap Year

February 29th? That means it’s leap year, it’s mandatory for you to leap over something on your bike today. I don’t make the rules, I just enforce them. We spent the last week leaping over the dirt jumps behind the Orchid garage, something that’s never happened in the 8 years they’ve been there. Spring in February, not a bad deal. Brian Hunt spent his month on a bmx adventure, leaping from state to state, which is pretty much what he does every month. Follow his twitter to keep track. Here’s a rad shot of Brian for the last day of Footwork month. Photo by Keith Terra.

Mardi Gras Mick

Here’s another killer Micky Marshall shot from Footwork, which is now embeddable! If you have a blog (or even a Facebook) help spread the love. This video came out awesome and we want to make sure everyone gets to see it.

Micky was also at Mardi Gras this week with Lil Pat. Huh huh, I bet they saw boobs.

Gross Ass Story

Here’s another Keith Terra shot from Footwork for ya. Brian Histand got this opposite wallride done in Philly right after the previous attempt left him with a golf-ball size hole in his ass. You see that glass door on the right with the metal frame? And you see all those gnarly bolts sticking out of that frame? They were actually pointed and closely resembled bullets. He slid into one of those, it hooked into his ass cheek and blew it right open. Being the tough mofo that he is Brian went back and pulled the line before even looking at it, because blood was already starting to seep through his jeans. With the clip under his belt we rushed him to the emergency room where it took 6 layers of internal stitches to put his ass back together again. They lost count around 50 stitches. Sick.

(if you really want to see the hole in his ass it’s right here at 2:04)
